Lose the fat.
Keep the muscle.
Every other nutrition app counts down from a calorie maximum. On a GLP-1 your appetite is already gone — the real risk is eating too little protein and losing muscle along with the fat. RETAIN counts up to a protein minimum designed around your body and your medication.
Built for people taking Ozempic®, Wegovy®, Mounjaro®, or Zepbound®.
of the weight lost on GLP-1 medications can be lean mass. Muscle — not fat.
Neeland et al., Diabetes, Obesity & Metabolism, 2024.
Muscle isn't just aesthetics — it's your metabolism, your strength, and how well the weight stays off. Current clinical guidance points to 1.2–1.6 g of protein per kg of bodyweight per day, paired with resistance training 2–3× a week, to help protect it. RETAIN is designed around making both of those easier to do on the days the medication makes eating hard.
Ratios shown for illustration of the Neeland range. Actual body composition depends on many factors — talk to your prescriber.
Count up. Not down.
Traditional calorie apps assume the problem is willpower. On a GLP-1, the drug already handles the calories. The number worth watching is protein — and RETAIN is built around hitting a minimum, not staying under a maximum.
A ceiling you're trying not to hit. Useless when your appetite is already suppressed and your problem is eating enough of the right thing.
A floor you're trying to reach. Personalized from your weight, activity, and medication — and updated as the numbers change.

No. RETAIN is a nutrition tracking tool built for people on GLP-1 medications. It doesn't diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Talk to your prescriber before changing any medication or dose.
Do I need to be on a GLP-1 to use it?+
The app is designed around GLP-1 use — Ozempic®, Wegovy®, Mounjaro®, Zepbound®. You can also use it pre-medication if you're preparing, and the intake will set your target accordingly.
How is my protein target calculated?+
From the answers in the 2-minute intake — weight, activity, medication status. It follows current clinical guidance of about 1.2 to 1.6 g of protein per kg of bodyweight per day, and updates as those inputs change.
